The short version
We never receive the images you compress, resize, or convert. All processing happens locally in your browser using standard image APIs. Your files are not uploaded, transmitted, stored, logged, or analyzed by us, because they never reach our servers in the first place.
What we don't collect
- The images or files you process
- Accounts, email addresses, or passwords — none exist, because none are required
- Payment information — there is no paid tier
What the site itself may collect
Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic, aggregate technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability purposes — this is standard web server behavior, not something we add on top of it, and it has no relationship to the images you process on the page, which never leave your browser.
Cookies and local storage
We don't set our own cookies. If you accept the optional analytics banner, we load Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics to see how the tools are used (for example, how often an image is processed or a download is clicked, never the file name or the image itself). Google Analytics sets a few first-party cookies on this domain for that. If you decline, neither script loads.
Google's AdSense script, described in the next section, loads on every page whether or not you accept the analytics banner, and Google may set or read its own cookies when it runs.
Your browser's local storage holds a few small values on this site: your accept/decline choice, whether you dismissed a notice banner, and on the homepage and general tool pages (those without a fixed preset), your last-used settings (such as a 100KB target or 1200px width) so they're filled in next time. None of this is sent to us, and none of it includes your images. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Advertising and Google AdSense
IMAGE SIZE PRO has applied to Google AdSense and has added Google's site-verification script (adsbygoogle.js) to every page so Google can review the site. This script does not currently display any ads — no ad units are placed on this site, and no advertising is shown to visitors today. If and when Google approves the site and ads actually begin showing, this policy will be updated first to describe exactly what runs: the specific ad formats used, what data is collected (which typically includes advertising identifiers and cookies for personalized or non-personalized ads), and how you can control it — including your options under Google's ownAds Settingsand, where required (including for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), a consent mechanism specific to advertising rather than the analytics-only cookie banner described above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. Given the site's architecture — no accounts, no uploads — there is little that could substantively change without changing the product itself.
